Doesn't look like Taylor will be getting a good run in the squad... And no indication of the new opener

out of the contractyed players the obvious xi would be:

cook
trott
bell
morgan
bairstow
prior
bresnan
broad
swann
anderson
finn

however that is a weak side and out of the players available in england id personally rather see:

Cook
Root (but itll be carberry)
trott
bell
bairstow
patel/bresnan
prior
broad
swann
anderson
finn

itll be bresnan in england but probably be patel in india/subcontinant

I don't think either Patel or Bresnan would bat at 6 ahead of Prior, and I don't think they'll play 5 bowlers anywhere other than the sub-continent

Please bear with me but are there categories in England's Central Contracts? Like A, B, C etc (A being most paid one)

Or all are same? If so any idea on rough monthly salary?

nope thats Australian contracts - we simply have full contracts (I heard somewhere c 120k) and incrementals which are a gradated payment on top of county salary.

Cheers for replying.

So is it £120,000 or $120,000?

That's monthly salary and after that they get match fees too if I'm not mistaken?

Blimey that's a lot!

I believe that is the annual salary - though they will get match payments/expenses on top.

Pertty decent wage if you ask me.
