In soles
« on: September 06, 2012, 09:12:59 PM »

I'm after some in soles for my cricket boots and general day wear, a few years ago i had some custom made for me as i was having a few issues however they are now very uncomfortable and are hurting my arch so ive stopped wearing them.

Would like to purchase something to replace them with which is fairly robust and strong and fairly thick and rigid on the bottom, i don't want something which will wear quickly and need replaced.

Has anyone got such a thing and if so from where and how much.

Whats recommended for us  38 year old chaps with flat feet. I dont have much of an arch in my foot and with daily excercise im feeling the pain in my shins and soles of my feet. Maybe some insoles with an incline or an arch is suitable. Any ideas where to buy these?

I've used these in the past

Found them to be very good and particularly liked the customisable fit. I self diagnosed shin splints (who knows what it was) after suffering pain in my lower medial shins but upon wearing these the pain seemed to stop.
I know have custom made's on the NHS though due to decreased arches (flat feet) and these offer great support and cushioning.

I went here for mine.  My mother is an osteopath, so reccomended I go there and they were very good.  They've also done them for a little known player called Andrew Strauss, or something like that... ;)
