2lb 5 and a half?! You been sticking your bats in the airing cupboard again Dave? :D I've warmed a lot to that shape, it's pretty similar to my L&W Reserve, lovely shape. Does this mean the scuff sheets are coming off all your bats now? I might try a bat without a scuff, been about two years since I've done so. I have so bloody many, that longevity shouldn't really matter as much!

I don't think Dave puts his B3's in the airing cupboard. Guessing they've lost a little moisture naturally.

Got to admit the B3 he used yesterday sounded gorgeous. We were discussing anti scuff after the game (over a beer and pickled egg) and both came to the conclusion you do lose a little bit of performance with one. What you do lose is the lovely sound of a hard leather ball on willow.

I prefer the look and feel of his JT over this B3, but performance wise both are very very good.

Looking forward to the bats he'll be bringing back from India, you can't argue with Daves eye he has for a bat

Well this is where it started i asked for

Profile 3
edge 6
spine 1
[/quote]

I just ordered this design as well in 2.12lbs but with profile 1 so its more traditional.... its on its way to me as we speak and i simply cant wait... I bit the bullet and bought a grade 3 from them as well so i have a net bat as well as a game bat... Cant wait. will post pics when it gets here and initial thoughts :)
