so having looked at tempo in the other thread and thinking about buying it I went snooping around on H4L website, again. In terms of willow that you can select the options are G2, G1 & Pro so was hoping you shed some light on you pro willow pls. Is it pro in terms of look, performance & weight (lack of weight) or just performance?

could we see some pics too  pls

yes but its a bit more money so hoping this might help me decide if its going to be pro, g1 or g2

you are probs paying for looks and weight like u said,  having had and used  fair few h4l's i dont think the g2 performed any less than the le's

Cheers Simmy thats great to know, I had a G1 (i think) last year from them that was and still is very very good but i am not allowed access to it anymore as a teammate took ownership

I have a 5 star (from Simmy I think) that's a gun!
If the Pro bats perform even better then heaven help bowlers!!

Mine was a 5* and couldn't really see any difference between it and other higher grade willow I'd used.

Pretty sure It's down to cleft grading (appearance) rather than performance grading. I'm sure Matt will shed the light

As per my knowledge Matt grades his willow on looks, though only he can confirm.

what grade was that Tempo on the other thread .......... 4 grains

it's a G2 and I think it's 5/6 grains under the edge tape.
