Get with the program??? Newbery are proberly one of the top 3 bat makers in the world. I have no doubt that BB are very good and like i have said the feednack from them has been excellent but the Newbery 5star is a maximum of £150 which i think is really tough to beat for value for money.

The Newbery Cadbury is £149.99 with hammer edge tape, Can you get either of the mentioned bats for cheaper?? I have heard excellent things about the BB's since being on the forum but have never seen one play yet.  Woodstock though i thought was a lot more expensice then the newbery 5star and i have to be honest having seen 2 last year didn't seem that great although i wouldn't let 2 viewings of the same player with the same bat make up my mind totally on a brand

I saw a lad with a Woodstock and he hit a rapid century including several massive sixes. He was an MCC young cricketer though.

I think it's far comment, if you can get a Cadbury/Newbery/TK cheaper than £150 then please share :-)
