i have two pairs of their gloves and they are very comfy and for £25 reduced from £50 they are great. I had two pairs of pads to but they were a bit bulky for me so i sold them to my club for the kit bag and the 3rd teamers love them. i like puma pads which are very light so i may have been a bit harsh.

Quality was ok.

they sell aldred bats, maybe he can let you know  a little more about them

Anybody know anything about the bats? Made by themselves, or perhaps by a certain other devon based bat maker? I know he makes for at least one other brand!

Softs made by Champ, some of the lower end bats might also be made by them.
Not sure who the UK batmaker might be.

I have the 4 star bat. It's decent quality, but has a little bit too much concaving for my liking.

They seemed decent to deal with, offered to put an extra half grip on the bottom of the handle for me, I had no need to go back to them so can't comment on after sales.

Duck & Run are very good with their customer service, Wes is a great bloke to deal with via phone or email.
Normally responds within an hour during opening times.
I made a £500 order with them last week and they matched all my cheapest prices found.

They do some awesome stuff.

I have a 4* as a net bat. Really nice bat, goes very well. Handle is a bit soft/flexible for my liking but it wasn't always that way only last 2 or 3 net sessions. Goes like poo off a greased shovel though. Pickup is brill seeming as its 2,14 and I normally use 2,12.

I did once hear they are Indian made, I don't know or never know how to tell.

If you find the net bat thread, pics are up in there of mine.

They do an awesome coffin bag, fully customisable to size, handle, colouring, compartments etc.
