Bit off topic but they mentioned during one of the BBL games that Gayles bats were 2lb12oz.

I'd have thought he'll be using lighter sticks in oz because there quicker pitches possibly?

I'm not sure but I'm sure I've heard them mention in the IPL there around 3lb

I guess he just picks a bat up and if he likes it, he has it. I reckon he could use a stick of rhubarb and still hit it further than a lot of people lol
