Some blank bats - what are these worth?
« on: December 28, 2012, 08:11:32 PM »

Found these 6 bats while having a clearout this afternoon. I'm sure you can put your own grading on them based on looks and what you've seen elsewhere. They are still covered in cellophane, so unfortunately there is a lot of reflection from the lights.
What do you think these are worth?  If anyone wants to make an offer on one or more, please PM and state whether your offer includes postage from UK to your delivery address.
Thanks for looking :)

Weights are as follows:
Bat #1: 1230g (2lb 11.3oz approx)
Bat #2: 1250g (2lb 12.0oz approx)
Bat #3: 1245g (2lb 11.9oz approx)
Bat #4: 1225g (2lb 11.2oz approx)
Bat #5: 1220g (2lb 11.0oz approx)
Bat #6: 1255g (2lb 12.2oz approx)

Each has a black chevron grip and black toe guard fitted.

Is noone going to post what they think these are worth? There is no obligation to buy, but I'd be interested to hear people's views :)

About 50p each? And I will even go so far as to make you an offer of £3 for the lot  ;)

Being serious, not the best lookers and no one can tell performance but you Aswani so hard to put a price on them without more info - grade, where they are made etc.

Handles look thin on some, perhaps just the view on my phone

I think the most I'd pay for a blank bat these days is about £135. These might get £70 out of me if they were well balanced and had good rebound.

I would suggest taking off the cellophane and then taking pictures.

Right now the grains are hard to differentiate and these are looking like Kashmir Willow to be honest!
