so after 3/4 weeks dealing with sports direct and having sent back the v360 select they sent me I finally ended up with this, its a slazenger v360 players bat and I have to say its one of the nicest feeling bats I have ever picked up. I'm not 100% sure what makes it a players bat apart from the label on the grip and the head of slazenger cricket (Alex mace) who is a top bloke. He said it should be going to a pro but as Ive been messed about I could have it.
Wighes 2'9 and is huge for the weight. has a fair bit of concaving but not the most I've seen. nice set of grains and never had a bat where the grains run pretty much the same on the back.
As for performance well I had a few hits with it during a pre match warm up as did a few of my team mates who were amazed by how well it flew.

Alex is indeed a top man, count yourself very lucky on the upgrade, Slazenger pro bats are not all that common. A lad at our club who played a bit for Hampshire 2's got given a v500 by one of the guys down there who is sponsored, but that is the only one I've ever seen, I've never asked Alex for one directly though.

His v500 looks exactly the same as your 360, same shape and grain structure, the normal v500's have little scoops out of the back so I knew his was a special one.

Hope it goes well for you, our guys v500 is an absolute rocket.
