sticker stain

hi just giving my mates m&h solution a refurb, its 3 years old and when taken the stickers off obviously underneath is like new. my question is it there a trick to make these blend in or is it just plain hard work ?

Just plain hard work. Lots of sanding

An electric sander makes life easier, but you need to be careful not to scorch the wood
