Post sticker removal marks.
« on: March 18, 2013, 06:48:35 PM »

I've just removed the back stickers from my quantum with a hairdryer and rolled the left over glue to the sides. All the glue is gone but the only problem is the stickers have left white marks where they used to be. I've just oiled it and the marks are still there. Was thinking off sanding and polishing but would I have to re-oil after and would the marks come off?

Would recommend a light sand down mate , are you using a scuff sheet on it afterwards?

Should of made it clearer, its the two long stickers on the back, already have a scuff on the face.

I've had this problem before. I now don't oil the back of the bat.
A lot of people have disagreed with me in the past tho!

Just finished sanding it at my school workshop and got the marks blended quite easily. Looks really good and feels really smooth. Pretty happy as its my first 'bat job'. Put a light coat of oil on it. Maybe get pics when the oil dries.
