Chase 175 Beluga Tummy Tuck & Face Lift

On Friday I am dropping my bat into the Chase factory (or rather my Dad who works in Andover is) for a weight reduction and refurb.

It currently weights 2lb10, I have asked for it to be taken as close to 2lb7 as possible (yes I'm a weed).

Here are some pictures before I send her away for her 'surgery'. I will post the after pictures when I can (not sure what the turnaround time is so I can't say when that will be).

Got my bat back today. Dan has done an excellent job, cannot praise him highly enough.

The performance is not any difference but the weight difference is noticeable. It went from 2lb10 down to 2lb7

I had a sneaky wave around of this bat when I was up there last week, it's a really nice traditional profile....... I really liked it!  Looks like Dan has done a great job on it.... I actually prefer those stickers to the newer ones...

My first Chase was a 150 Finback and when I went to but this I had planned to get another Finback.
I looked at a couple of Finbacks and this one at the time, and it picket up better and tapped up better off the mallet. That made my decision much easier as I loved the profile as soon as I saw it.

On a slightly different note, having bought a Woodstock recently I can safely say that the customer service at Chase is better, and their bats really are hand made, so I will be going back there when I need any new kit.

Looks good. I dropped a bat into chase myself for weight reduction today.
They have a nice set up and the bats look really good, very tempted to get one myself!!
Surprised that there is not more about them on this forum. Shame they are not a sponsor as they seem as if they would fit right in.

I bought this the season before the R series stickers came out. At first I was a bit disappointed when one of the lads got a new one (think it was more their bat was newer than mine than anything), but this is a cracking bat and the more classic look seems to be back in now. Really am pleased with this bat
