Bend them and drop something heavy on them?

Bend them at the bottom until you hear the 'snap' isn't it?

Or just loosen the bottom strap or buy pads with bigger arches that naturally drop.

Why would you want to snap them?! Makes no sense and looks awful IMO

I think it looks good mate, however I'd never do it because there's a lot off risks like snapping them to high or low and to be honest your just ruining your pads that if your like many of us on here have just paid a lot off money for!

Does anyone have a picture of snapped cane pads? I've never seen what they look like before.

I wouldn't personally do it either, some people are obsessed with it & ruin their pads.

I have played cricket for over 20 years and never heard of anyone wanting to snap the canes in their pads? Out of interest why would someone want to do this? What is the benefit/purpose?
Thanks

Just echoing what may have said before but it does seem rather pointless to do this!
Just get pads without canes in like Puma or some Gn or Gm pads
