My new Ca bat
« on: June 19, 2013, 09:32:56 PM »

Some pictures of my new Ca Plus Extra Power. I got it from Eaglerise sports in Melbourne. I did not have a lot of money to spend on a new bat and I have always wanted to own a Ca. The weight is 2.9lb and has a great pick up, feels much lighter than 2.9lb, edge size is 42mm, the total thickness of the bat is 60mm.
It cost me $200 AUD which is about 120 British Pound Sterling. I've gave it a light tap with a mallet and it feels great which surprised me as this is in the lower end of bats that Ca make. I've already gave it 1 coat of oil and it does seem a little dry but not as bad as I was expecting.

Apologies for the poor quality of the photos, I took them with my HTC phone and I'm crap at taking photos.

Thanks Shoab, It taps up better than what i expected from what is essentially a lower grade bat from Ca.
Just started giving it a light coat of oil and letting it sit for a few days before i start knocking in.

It looks like a great bat, I too own a Ca plus 15000 and Ca bats are absolute guns. I have seen many Ca bats and this is better then some of the Ca plus 10000's I have seen !
Score lots of runs with it  :)
