My friend was looking to get handle replaced for his Newbery TT SPS.
We found one local guy who does the handle replacement. He put a new handle and the handle looked solid but the bat was not clean.
So i offered my help to clean up the bat based on inputs from this forum.
Here are the pics of before and after.
The back needs some more cleanup. I have to oil it and put a face sheet. Will put some pics after that.
The ping on this bat is just top quality. One of the best i have ever noticed.
I borrowed my neighbour's sander and it made the job real easy.
One has to be careful with the Sander and not remove too much of wood in order to get clean surface .
