Need a new club in London?
« on: May 15, 2013, 10:15:09 AM »

Hi all,

If you're heading to London this year for study or the inevitable move to London after Uni and are looking to join a new club playing good cricket (with a good social life too!) then look no further.......

Kensington and Chelsea cricket club are actively looking for new players to join our rapidly growing club for the 2013 season. We currently field 3 Saturday teams of different abilities with the 1's and 2's playing in the Middlesex championship to the 3's playing in the 1987 league. We also field a league/social team on a Sunday if you're not a fan of playing on a Saturday!

Come and join us at our new ground in Chiswick, complete with sightscreens, refurbished scoreboard, bar and most importantly Sky Sports. Whatever your experience, age or ability, everyone is welcome to play!

So if you're looking to get involved with a fun, sociable cricket club please get in touch

...............ok it's the Ad I'm currently running on Gumtree but we are sadly still looking for players having just lost our 2 opening 1st team bowlers to paid contracts plus a couple of our Antipodean contingent heading home. We're still looking for all standards so if you or anyone you know is heading to London then please put them in touch.

Cheers,

Liam

Great club, and good fun to play against if anyone takes Liam up on this offer.

Thanks Charlie mate! Was hoping to get a game against you guys again but we've gone into league cricket so had to cancel all the friendlies.

Hopefully we'll sort something though mate! Always a pleasure against you guys.

Plus you know where I am when you're at a loose end for a game yourself ;)

I'll take you up on that one.

There's always Sundays for a game, I think we're pretty much sorted at the moment but you never know.

Oh, and they're also sponsored by IJC (as if Liam's sales pitch wasn't good enough already!)  8)
