It looks intriguing - I'm quite tempted. If they did a £100 version like oblivion power blade I'd be more likely to gamble. Saying that, GN tweeted a lot about Trego using one in lo stuff but when he got his big 100 he was using an e41. So, probably a gimmick, but looks fun...

I picked up a couple at the trade show.  As I expected, they are quite bottom heavy! It's certainly not the kind of bat that I would use myself, and I think it would be better for the shorter formats, but there is definitely some buzz around it and we've had a couple of pre-orders for them, so they seem to be popular.  They are only available in the Players and 4 Star grades, as you can see here:

What grade willow is the 4 star version and how many grains are on the ones you have seen so far?

i think likely that i might be pre ordering one once i get paid

Sounds good! :-) 4 Star is grade 3, which will typically have 5-7 grains. We are going there to hand-pick though, as you probably know, so may be able to find one that has more - will at least pick the cleanest of the lot anyway. Let us know your desired weight and any other particulars and we'll do our best!
