Newbery SPS WK Gloves(Navy/Orange)

Has anyone used the old Nay/Orange(http://www.prodirectcricket.com/products/newbery-wicket-keeping-gloves-sps-navy-orange-14940.aspx) Newbery SPS WK gloves ?

How are these in terms of feel and protection ? How hard is the padding, I prefer less padding.

Got some from www.rematchsports.co.uk for about £26. Can't go wrong at that money if you ask me. Thinly padded, with a layer of gel foam type padding but not much of it, good catching cup. Only problem is the orange/gold fingernails! I unpicked the finger tips and the band across the back so they're all blue.

Yea I have a pair, use tem for net training, there a youth size but if you want them you can have them mate

I have some only worn once or twice mate. Decent gkove for thr price. Happy to sell mine if you would like them.

Thanks for the info mate. But luckily I bought them from Rematch last month and they turned out to be good. Although a little hard to start with but after breaking them they are really good. I am using them now for our league games and they are perfect.

They'll do fine if you don't want them any more. I just want them for the blue leather - i'm going to chop them up and use the bits for finger tabs on my gloves because i've unpicked all the bronze/gold bits. I've some Hunts County Clipper LE gloves I could swap them for...?
