After talking to the skipper we are close to cancelling the game we really can't afford to, if it helps I will personally give petrol money

We aren't at ten! It's awful! We need one more so we don't cancel the game, I think we have 9 I'm trying to get a player and my skipper is also trying

Couple of weeks ago we played top of the league with 6 (I wasn't available).  Thankfully, when they won the toss, they chose to bowl!
