Loving the look of strauss's new power spot. He ain't even playing but looks like he's got an awesome peice of willow!

It's the new sky sports ashes range, due for release in aus for the 2nd part of the ashes.

Finest grade 1 English willow test quality
Made to Montgomery burns own spec(2lb as he's old and can't lift heavy)
Bleached as they don't like grains
Hand made in the uk, rumoured to be by tk!..........

One would presume that as he only retired last year, he's still got a few years left on his gray nichols contract. So there cleverly using it to try and cash in.

I was watching the last test and thought why wouldn't a sponsor have that bat as Strauss and I think Atherton were both using the Sky Sports bat so it has been changed between tests.

I'd think it much more likely that it is sponsorship rather than using a players own bat.
