A lucky trip to H4L
« on: April 09, 2014, 11:49:03 PM »

Hi Folks,
Just a quick review on couple of bats I have recently got from Matt,
Gave him a call and arranged the lucky trip to H4L workshop,
“What a nice chap with a great hospitality”
Anyways got couple of decent bats, and handed him few repair / refurb jobs,
Luckily got my hands on to one of the Brendan Nash's Hell Fire Pro bat laying around (in the repairs box lol) which Brendon returned after one net session, saying it was tad heavy for him (2.9lb) I just laughed for the simple reason that it picks up so light! It has 10 grains and the edges are about 38mm.

Second bat I got was just a plain one made to required specs, 2.10lb, 8 grains, 40mm edges, and nice and clean face, with lighter pick up to its weight, with a flat toe.

These bats are highly responsive from beginning, I haven’t even knocked them in properly yet! and they already go like a gun. Really really impressed with the shape, minimal concaving, and a nice bow, the middle is equally distributed across the playing area, and definitely like the feel of the oval handle.
I will let you folks know at the end of the season, how did they go! I am really positive about them.

Please do not ask me how much did they cost?  I would rather you ask that question to Matt.

Thanks every one and have a good cricket season

You lucky so and so. Wanting a h4l bat more and more. Interesting flat toe. Any reason you asked for it?

I am hearing so many good things about H4L that I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Kal flat toe is just a personal preference, nothing much technical about it though, or I don't know the technical reason for it lol, if any one knows then please enlighten.
