My spyder refurbishment.
« on: July 16, 2013, 02:54:36 PM »

I got my spyder from gary at around march time and it was my no 1 bat until i got my bb. Safe to say the ball flies off it. it has since been my net bat and i net around 3 times a week so it has had a lot of use, also for games it had been in my kit bag so it had become battered so i thought it was time to give it a refurbishment. i took the stickers off which unfortunately like kookabura stickers, seem to leave permanent lines on the bat however in person you cant see these, i only realised they were still there when i took the photo's. To take all stickers and scuff sheets and tape etc and then to sand it down and oil it it only took around 1 and 1/2 hours so im pretty pleased with the outcome. It now weighs 2.10 but i think it picks up an ounce lighter.  As i say it looks a lot better in person but i hope the pics can give you an idea. unfortunately i didn't take and 'before ' pics.
