M&H Original
« on: July 19, 2013, 02:28:38 PM »

Fellow members:

Has anyone owned or has any experience of using M&H Original (http://www.millichampandhall.co.uk/cricket-bats/original.html).
Appreciate if you could share details like weight, grains, ping, pick-up and of course some pics if you can :).
And why are they cheaper than other bats of M&H.

thanks.

my M&H original is exceptional, goes like (No Swearing Please) off a shovel, has an exceptional pick up and balance dues to the high middle, however, mine has a very weak toe, not sure if others have it? would show you some pics, however it is with Dan at Chase for repair...again.

reason for it being the cheapest, is because it isnt pre prepared by M&H and is the lowest grade they do based on looks, still go like stink tho.

no worries fella, takes about 4 hours to knock in and play in with old balls, Id recommend 3 hours with a mallet then a net with an old ball for half hour then half hour of short catches.

Mine is 2.8 3/4
