Trainers or tennis shoes for spiking?
« on: August 09, 2013, 07:37:31 AM »

I'm looking at buying some trainers or tennis shoes to have spiked for next season. Going to have them done by the shoe doctor but can anyone recommend any for being done.

A lot of the Australian bowlers wear Asics GT 2000 running shoes spiked up.

Siddle, Bird, Pattinson, Starc all use these in blue and red.

I don't think they are the Gt-2000s

The ones they use are leather. I don't think a running shoe would do the trick, due to the heavy impact in the delivery stride.

I wonder if they are a different colourway of these
