Gn100 scoop

I am looking into purchasing a gn100 scoop. I am just wondering how it works. Surely if you have a scoop in the middle of the bat the middle will not be good? Can someone help me explain the science behind this bat? Thank you

It has been explained many times before. It is the same principle as a perimeter weighted golf club. Generally distance travelled by the ball is a function of the total mass of the bat not the height of the spine.
