Little refurb required
« on: August 12, 2013, 09:07:41 AM »

A friend of mine has passed me his Kook players bat for a refurb, initial impressions are it isn't in bad nick, its his second bat and would like it sprucing up a little
It currently has a scuff sheet, with bat tape down both edges, toe guard is pretty much all missing bar a little bit, and has a few bumps and scrapes allover as would be expected of a used bat
He ideally would like the kook stickers removed, along with the scuff sheet and what's left of the toe guard. Then a sanding down, mainly to remove the shadow of the old stickers, and a toe guard replacement. He is happy with the current grip so doesn't need a new one. And if any batmakers responsible for the refurb have their own brand of stickers, he wouldn't mind some of them being applied if they are to his liking.

Can any batmakers/ refurb specialists give me a quote of price to pass onto him, and any more details he may require. He's in no great rush to get it done, just thought he'd treat it to a refurb
Also does anyone know the price of a kook refurb and would they apply some new stickers, like GN do

Thanks in advance

Anyone sponsors out there with refurb prices?
Or aspiring batmakers?

Cheers

You're probably looking around £30.
