Puma Millichamp Precision 2000 review
« on: October 09, 2013, 05:04:56 AM »

As I have told you guys recently I have recently got my hands on a Puma Millichamp Precision 2000 made by Mr Julian Millichamp from trade me (NZ eBay). I would now like to give you a quick review on the bat that I have used.

Profile- Middle
The profile extends up quite high which is what I like as I tend to get on the back foot. The spine enables this and with a convex ensures a powerful middle which I am trying to focus on hitting it in . The bat features a duckbill toe which helps the balance . Overall the profile suits my type of play quite nicely.

Grains 8
The bat features 8 grains which in my opinion is a good enough amount as I am not to fussed about the grains , yet they are pretty straight which is nice . They are all sapwood which is slight softer ensuring a nice ping.

Balance - Very Nice
The duckbill toe and the very thick oval handle ensure a sweet balance which I need as I play a lot with my hands hitting through the line .
Overall A really big fan of the shape and stickers as well as the thick handle it makes it feel really nice. Overall Julian can make a very nice stick. Downside a bit rough at the edges so needs a refurbishment.

How much did you pay? I certainly missed spotting this one.

Nice bargain that.  The duck bill is certainly very pronounced, hopefully you middle most and not toe end too many.

Very strange looking toe (although I understand it's like that for a reason), but a nice bit of wood overall. Fingers crossed you score plenty with it!
