bat pickup

hi guys, wasnt sure where to put this topic so i said id put it here ! im wondering do bats with a lower middle have a worse pick up then bats with a more central middle ?! thanks

Yes and no.
Yes because the majority of the weight is at the bottom of the bat.

No, because if crafted well, bats with lower middles can pick up great.
From experience I had a Newbery B52 (sachin profiled bat) that I could not get on with so sold on, then I currently have a m&h solution that for a low middled bat, picks up great!

Then you have bats with high spines that distribute the weight around, but that's another story!

It's probably worth having a search for terms like balance and pick up, using the advanced search function, and for posts from norbs and me. There has been a lot of discussion on this topic.
