Retro Bats
« on: September 06, 2013, 12:35:21 PM »

After looking at what the main brands are releasing and going back to,
What does everyone think will be the best seller.
I myself have changed from my original idea of the new Powerspot and gone over to the New UK Bubble as it looks brilliant and i'm sure will perform amazingly as well.
Any one have any other favourites looks like the New Slaz V5 could be a nice bat and also GM Purist as well

Of the retro bats, I still think that the Dynadrive is the best (for major Nostalgia reasons), but I'd have to say that the Bubble is very definitely second. I'd want to tap up a Powerspot before trusting it would be any good...

but if we were doing true nostalgia, the Powerspot would have the middle of a kids size one....!

Bubble for me, then possibly the V5 (I think the profile, low middle, lovely stickers and lower price point will really appeal).  I don't think the Powerspot has the same "wow factor" as the Scoop/Dynadrive, but is a great price, so will probably do OK...

My powerspot was superb. You were obviously all using them wrong!

I'm bubbling at the mouth for the Bubble.

I think GN have probably done the best job on the retro side of things , and have probably also gained a lot of sales from the fact that they've returned most of their sort of innovative designs and not a bat similar to any others on the market today.
