Should really have put pictures of this a few months ago when it first arrived but wasn’t sure if I was going to keep it. So glad I did in the end as it’s the best one I’ve had from the Taunton boys yet.
My 2010 distinction finally gave up the ghost at the start of the year which annoyed me as it was going great. I was so please with it I called M&H to see if they could make me another 2010 shape in around 2.9-2.10. Unfortunately they didn’t have any more oversized clefts left so after a discussion with Nick I went for a 2.11 Master.
I’ve always liked the retro stickers and tend to get the fitted.
Wasn’t sure about the shape when it first arrived. I tend to like a really low middle with a nice pick up and so far the only bat that did that without feeling to bottom heavy was the 2010 distinction. After a few goes in matches and the nets I was sold. As the season has gone on it just got better and better. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about getting a master.
Personally, I’ve not had a great season but it did help me to a 50 in as many balls.
Obviously the 3ib Master has a lot less concaving than mine but they had to take the weight from somewhere I guess.
I’ll post some more pictures after the season when it’s been cleaned up.
Cheers
