I ordered a bat from Andy in January of this year and was promised that I would have it in three weeks. He promised pics and they didn't turn up. 8 weeks later he promised me that it had been sent but the tracking number didn't work. I badgered him every day and he eventually told me that it was caught up in customs in Japan. I live in Aus and have bought many bats from the UK and NONE of them have ever been via Japan as well as they don't get checked by Customs when transiting a country. I ended up getting my brother in the UK to call him and I email bombed his website until he eventually refunded the money. I know he was going through a loss in his family but was very disappointed in his attitude.

He fed me the same line about my bat being in Japanese customs also. I ordered my bat in January, and I've only recently finished chasing up getting my money back through my bank. I would strongly advise anyone AGAINST ordering a bat from this company. He spun me a similar story Wickets-then-runs: said he'd give me the tracking number then didn't; said he'd make another bat and resend with tracking number then didn't; offered a refund then didn't, and then stopped corresponding all together. I know there are people on this forum who are very fond of this bloke and have criticised me when I've hinted at my displeasure with him on various topics, but to me he's a con-man and a shyster. The fact he's spun the exact same lie to someone, as above, else confirms it. And that's not even taking into account the various people who PMd me and shared their similar problems dealing with this company.

Yeah, don't know what the go is as i bought a Hades off him last year and was very happy with. It's funny, when SAF was a sponsor here, you couldn't say a bad word about him but when he left, the knives came out. He got a real pasting on a thread on here a while ago; people saying his bats were crap etc... I found the bat he sent me was great but obviously something has happened and things have changed for him.

I had a couple off bats off him a origin and hades this was when Marcus was their and I got two very good bats .this year I ordered a mech ten and it was a plank I think saf bats have gone down hill since Marcus left but I know andy can make a cracking bat I hope he can get himself together and start making some very nice bats lets hope anyway
