I like the way you display your bats, however I always notice how the stickers are in poor condition and the bats have little marks on them. Could be displaying the bats that way is not best for the bats?

I'm in the same boat as Liam...
Spent nearly £300 in your shop this year!

You mean your dad spent £300 in their shop this year! and last year!

The gloves always appear a bit like a jumble sale. I thought that was the case with the prices

i actually popped in the shop this afternoon to have a look at bats as they have the gray nicolls nemesis in stock. the loyalty prices certainly make them very competitive with other retailers i have looked.

i like the shop as its well laid out and has plenty of room for people.

i will be going in again before the new season to look at buying some balls for the new campaign maybe even a bit  of discount if i buy enough lol

I have to say I think its a bit cheeky trying to fleece the extra 20% from people who don't read the small print about the loyalty scheme myself!

We have tried several ways to display bats, and have found this works the best for us, with matchdays here at the ground, we have a lot of browsing of the bats, and naturally a lot of children try to pick them up and cause slight marks, and in terms of stickers, we have found that certain companies stickers fall off without touching them

All our prices start at the R.R.P given to us by the manufacturers, we then like to reward our loyal customers who choose to buy from our full range of cricket equipment rather than on the internet, its very disappointing how some companies offer ridiculous discounts as soon as the ranges are launched, they will be selling at Trade Price soon!!!

I never like schemes that offer different prices to different people - I just think they lack transparency and exist as a way of trying to get as much money as possible out of naive customers.

But the bigger point is - why would you have a problem with companies offering discounts on RRPs?

Aside from the vastly inflated numbers cited as RRP by most brands nowadays, this is merely the action of a competitive market and is really the minimum that the customer has a right to expect.  The only reason to have a problem with this would be if you felt that the market suited you better to maintain artificially high prices....?

Any one can have a loyalty card at SCS, it started originally as a discount for clubs that purchased their team clothing through us, and evolved through the years, to anyone being able to obtain one,

Well, with some of the prices that retailers are selling items for, are practically trade prices, maybe we don't get the best deals!!!!

So why not just mark all your prices that way?  Would look a million time sbetter to the consumer?

We've just had a move around on our gloves, so next time your passing, come in and see what you think?

Thanks

As stated in a previous post, we do now mark our equipment with the prices
