I noticed that!! It reminded me of CA, SF, SS TON, etc!
So I wonder if they've done this because it looks good, or maybe cos they are sick and tired of so make fake bats with GN stickers going around? Has anybody seen the 2011 range of GN bats yet? Was wondering if they have started to put the burnishing on their retail bats?

I dont know the reason why they did it (Most likely your suggestion regarding take offs and ebay etc) but yes all gray nicolls bats now have GN stamped into the side of there bats, even at retail level.
