Just saw that they are releasing a new mongoose bat called the rebel and wondered if anybody has seen or heard anything about it?

i have seem a small write up basically saying its a new bat and combines the other 3 bats they already sell

Is it just me or does the profile look similar to the Spartan MC limited edition?

i was certain my next bat would be from a small manufacturer but i do quite like the rebel. i have 2 other mongooses and they really ping. i have developed something of a soft spot for their bats

I'm of the other view point - I dislike the shape and styling of this bat.

Looks like a horrible pakistani bat with Mongoose stickers on it! Has a full size splice showing so goes against what mongoose have done previously!

one thing about those pics I noticed is the wood doesn't look the best. Seeing some of the bats mongoose have done in the past and used for their promo shots, they usually look a lot better than this.

Sorry to rant, but the one thing that annoys me with that image is the blade height of the 3 views are all different. Pretty average photography and photoshop composite job for a brand like Mongoose.
