Without sounding like a party pooper, it looks like a really thin profile, almost stick like. Love to know the spine height.

The GM Bat Spectrum on their website http://www.gm-cricket.com/pages/bat-spectrum.aspx has the spine height as 60mm (edge is 41mm) for the Purist, which as GM are shaped by computer controlled is presumably accurate for each bat. In comparsion an Argon F2 has a 63mm spine (40mm edge) and an Icon F2 67mm spine (41mm edge). So for a bat with no concaving, that seems a decent spine height.

I was really suprised by the shape! I had gone to the shop hating the profile then I fell in love with it!

I quite like the shape, it's one of those where you think: 'I'd like a little hit with that one...'

Icon F2 67mm spine (41mm edge) .......... that pretty impressive, do they do those dimensions in 2lb 8oz?

I think it's actually around 38mm edges I think, they do it in 2.9 upwards. 2.10 generally speaking for the 808s. I have one which is around 2lb 9.9oz, and has around 36mm edges, probably due to the knocking in process they have.

Does De Cock use an actual Purist or does he only use the GM stickers? The one he is using looks to be of a different profile..almost like an Indian made GM at :D

My understanding was that whatever weight a particular model GM bat is, all have the same dimensions ie a 2.10 Icon is the same size/volume as a 2.6 Icon. The different weights are due to differing density of the clefts used.

A 67mm spine and 41mm edges would have to weigh well under the magic number

Finally got round to measuring my Purist, sorry it took so long.
At their biggest points:
Spine 63.2mm
Edges 41.9mm
