A teammate of mine is moving back to England and letting all of his kit go. So among all of his stuff this bat caught my eye and i snapped it up for gbp20. Would love to know as much info as you geeks can give me about this. All i know is that its a custom shape. very old school and possibly a screaming cat profile? Help me out guys. How old do you think this is? Who is the batmaker? It is an absolute belter though.

Oh wow, I was just thinking about this not long ago - strange how small the world is! It is very similar to what I had before, in fact, I'd say it's the exact same bat - I'm surprised it's still in that tip top condition. Let me know if you intend on parting ways with it - it was the first of MANY bats I purchased online, but being the first, obviously I'm feeling a bit sentimental just from looking at it!

IIRC, the batmaker was TK for Black Cat back then, and this Custom Profile was actually meant to be an old style Distinction - done with an non-oversized cleft. @Six Sixes Cricket was actually the first owner and I bought it off him! I cannot remember who I sold it to though... Funnily enough, Black Cat was the brand I was suggested to look into by a friend/coach, which led me to CBF.

Yes chadders, you were on about this the other week. Mine originally, it was i think the 3rd attempt for them to get the shape correct. Ended up with an original distinction in the end
