Your basing your whole arguement on one innings, he has been far too inconsistant. Just becuase he kept hitting sixes on 60m boundaries doesnt make him the answer to our batting woes.

maybe this was the start of some rich form? anyway hes past his peak. when he was scoring century after century at Middlesex no one looked at him. even now though,. i would rate him ahead of Luke wright and even cooky for odi sqaud. dont get me wrong cook is a great test player. future England captain for sure but one dayers? a big no no.
