Played against a team on Saturday, there opener had an original magnum. 2 other batters that came in had old school gn's. 1 i think was a rapier? Had 2 scoops at the top of the bat. Edge sizes on all of them could not have been more than 10-15mm. The bats looked tiny.

I was down in Worcester a couple of weeks ago with work so skived off for an hour and went to find the shop but it was closed down  :o

rang Roger who said he was moving premises but I cant remember where he said he was moving to so its probably worth a call first.

The impression I got was that he was going to operate it from home.

And no thanks Dave, I don't like you.

One of the players on my team is Fearnley sponsored and has 3 of the new retro bats, all are excellent, although the profiles are quite strange!

Softs are good from what I've seen, pads are nice and light but still quite chunky and protective. The gloves feel very nice as well, not the best looking though, they look a bit 'busy' if that makes sense? And they also have black palms like the Salix gloves.
