B3 keeping gear
« on: June 22, 2014, 12:18:46 PM »

Well, at the beginning of the season I was told I may be needed to do some keeping duties this year.
So I went all out as we all do on the forum and went for the full shibang from B3. I have kept previously and only ever borrowed kit, used SS, slazenger and GN top end gloves.

What can I say?

I took the gloves out of the packet, and couldn't believe how soft the leather was! So supple and soft. So I grabbed my inners and slipped them on, there was no new and stiff feeling with these gloves at all. Felt like they had been worn in already! Comfertable to wear, great sizing and not too much padding like some others I've worn, gotta be able to feel the ball! The guys at B3 have really done an amazing job with them, and the pads really compliment the full package!

We bought a set of pads and gloves from b3 as a backup spare set when people who can keep but don't have the gear need to use them. They look very good and an old boy who used to keep alot was amazed how good they were compared to what he used back in the day and also our previous 10 year old spare set

Being able to use a piece of kit straight from the packet, and have confidence in it straight away, is awesome. Especially as a relatively new keeper!
