So, I had an England players edition Adidas bag, decided to move it on as I got a GN Xiphos bag off a friend for next to nothing.
I now regret it!
There is a devoting for your lid that's in the middle of the bag, this just gets in the way and you can't get your gear in and out easily. So I'm looking for a new bag.
Which is the best selling bag at the moment? Have had a few stand up bags before, happy with those.

I have the m&h t2 stand up and it is a great bag. Seems very well made, still looks brand new and I've had No issues with it falling over and fits everything I need in there.

I've just got shot of a Xiphos for similar reasons. I got a Salix Pod Pro and its a great bag, enough pockets for your bits and bobs with a main section that just seems to swallow everything I throw at it. I can highly recommend it.

I posted a review on Barrington about the Kookaburra's pro players I've been putting up with for a year:

I am a bit of a badger and I can comfortably fit batting pads, three pairs of gloves, full keeping gear, a lid, spikes, close fielding gear (shinpads and fielding grill), all my whites that I may or may not have to use that weekend, clothes to change into after the game and a wash bag and towel all with a spare pocket to store a grip cone, various rolls of tape and cans of deep heat, mallet... you get the idea.

Unfortunately, that is the only this going for this bag. Within a week, the helmet pocket had a great big hole in it where my lid has come through the material. A year later and I may as well have resorted to carrying my kit around in a mesh net.

The zips manage to tangle themselves on a weekly basis meaning that problems either getting into or closing that bag are now almost as vital a part of my prematch routine as my pregame ciggy.

The innards all come out, such as the floorboard of the bag and the helmet and footwork pocket. This of course means any small items of kit (batting inners in particular), always manage to disappear almost the instant they are place into the bag as they dispear under said items, meaning to find them you have to take everything out. The position of the helmet and footwear pockets, despite the size of the bag, need packing with great care and consideration. You'll need a sledge hammer and copious amounts of lubricant should you attempt to slide your helmet in (sideways as the pocket opening is very tight) after you have already packed the bottom compartment as these pockets take up the majority of room in that bottom segment.

All the above is just about livable with until I discovered the horrible, horrible truth. For a lot of last season, my bat would only venture outside of their batcave the second before I walk out to bat and would return the second (sometimes literally seconds later!) I return to the changing room. The reason I did this was because peculiar marks kept appearing all over my bat, little stud marks and scrapes here and there and I, of course, lay the blame firmly on my clumsy team mates and resolved to keep my pride and joy protected at all times. It wasn't until one day when I was putting my spikes into the footwear pocket that I heard a woody clunk. I looked at my bat and a new scuff had appeared. Yes that's right, ghese geniuses (geni?) at Kookaburra have added a bat pocket designed to keep pristine willow away from damaging stud, only to then insist on you putting your studs directly on top of your bat with very little in the way of padding protecting it. Quite frankly, your bat would stand more chance coming out unscathed if you put it on the floor of the colts changing room and fed them all Red Bull at tea. Ludicrous.

Apart from the shoddy build quality and the slow destruction of your very expensive cricket bat, Kookaburra have come up trumps here. Probably one to avoid!

I wonder how much it would cost to make a copy of the kooka pro design only with the material quality and build of the Adidas players ones... Might sell

If it had Kookaburra on the side of it, it wouldn't sell to me! I've gone right off their gear as a result.

Well if they sorted out the build quality and the problem where your spikes destroy your bat, then it would certainly be usuable. I would have got shot of it a long time ago and bought another, but this one cost me the best part of �100 so I can't justify it.
