Fiberfix - potential to fix cricket bats?

I came across this tape that claims to be 100 times stronger than duct tape and as strong as steel. If those claims are right, do you guys think this could make a bat repair easier?

It's black so would look just as village as duct taping your bat if nothing else  ;)

Also if it hardens that may have a detrimental effect on the ping

It would kinda look bad but they claim that you can paint on it and sand it once hardened if needed. Of course I am not talking about fixing the middle of the bat but a cracked toe or shoulder cracks. As for the hardening it's same for any epoxy glue.
