Fielding kit
« on: June 25, 2014, 11:09:27 AM »

So I've been given the task of putting together a list of equipment that will be used for fielding training/drills. The club already has some kit. However I was wondering what would people recommend to get? What are the essentials? And if you could what would you love to get if you could get anything (within reason!)?

Need few of the catchet boards, rebound stumps of decent quality with a metal spike, i love the foam faced skyer bats from any of the brands they are brilliant for outfelding drills, also some of the fielding nets for target throwing. Baseball gloves are handy as well.

Katchet boards
Single spring stumps
A springy net thing
A bowla (if you've got one) + balls
A net so you don't lose balls
Stumps
Hard tennis ball things
A tennis racquet
A sidearm
A base from slide in stumps with polystyrene  stumps in (for slip/keeping practice)
A load of old balls
A skyer bat

And most importantly for fielding drills, a knobhead to run the sessions!
