Edgeless Bat?
« on: July 08, 2014, 05:01:00 PM »

Random thought for the day.

I don't mean the front face or edges, but has anybody created a bat without the top side edges? ie. maybe the first 20mm of the edge is vertical but then the edge curves round towards the spine? Not sure if you could do the same at the toe. I suppose a bit like the Newbery Tour without upper edges.

Don't mean the front edge dipstick. I normally miss it anyway!

Are you imagining an extremer version of the bubble and menace?

If not I have no idea what you mean.

I imagine nick means a D sort of shape. Edges stay square for a little bit before curving round to form the spine. Not your traditional shaped edges

So what you are asking for is a bat convex back

Didn't Salix go through a phase of doing something funky with their edges... CTX??

Called CTS, I have it on my Praestantia bat.The edges are shaped inwards towards the spine to reduce the weight I presume. Similar to the vortex but running the whole way down the edge but to a less extend.
