Bowling boots
« on: July 29, 2014, 08:00:59 AM »

Hi all,

I saw Ben Stokes' NB bowling boots the other day and the hole in left boot big toe area was cut out perfectly.  It almost looked like it was hole-punched.

Anyone know of how this is done or the best way to cut a hole in the boot?

Many thanks

Broad's is the same.
Done especially for the player I'd imagine.

As for cutting it away yourself, I'd put the boot on and use a biro to point and mark where your discomfort is coming from then cut at it slowly

Using a Stanley knife is the best way to do it!

One of our players on Saturday made the hole using his toe...

Clipping your big toe nails works too.

I sometimes put a few padded plasters on my big toe? May sound unorthodox but it works for me.
