Already been said but if you are only lookin for 1.5 oz off just remove the stickers and clean her up.
I did a refurb this week for mate who is sponsored by Kookaburra here in Aus and the stickers themselves weighed nearly 2oz and when i was only taking off 2.5oz total it was pretty easy when nearly 2 were stickers. Much safer to than airing a bat
