So, after finding that the stickers on my GM Epic 505 were beginning to peel off, I decided to remove them. However, in the process I managed to remove part of the grain sheet. So, after a little bit (well, quite a lot!) of swearing, I elected to follow suit from a thread posted some time ago and remove the rest of it. I'm not completely finished, as some sanding is required to get a finish, but I'm quite pleased with what's underneath. Granted, it's not a pretty bat by any stretch, but I prefer it without the grain sheet on it for sure!
Removal complete. Not a bad bat face, but there are some obvious signs as to why this is a 505
Oiled to be left overnight, ready for another crack at it with the sandpaper tomorrow
