I've been after a second pair of gloves and having decided I wanted sausage fingers, looked at the SS Super Test and LE as well as the BAS/MRF range but remembered that I'd seen the blankbats 2015 gloves on Twitter over Christmas. Got in contact and here they are!
The gloves at first glance appear to be based on the BAS players that Kohli and Matthews are wearing at the moment. The differences being that the top hand doesn't have a split in the first two fingers, you get a split thumb and the side protection is fairly light. This is either a positive if you want more air flow (like me) or a negative if your hands tend to get wrapped a bit. The ventilation is actually one of the main reasons I went for this glove. I have Puma Chromium 6000s at the moment which are well ventilated and these also look like they'll let a lot of air in. If you look at the BAS gloves, there doesn't appear to be a lot of options for air flow.
The gloves themselves have sheep leather palms (I believe) with leather fingers, all being reinforced with extra reinforcement on first two fingers on the bottom hand. Oddly, the basic reinforcement is missing from the knuckle onwards on the middle finger of the bottom hand.
These are a standard mens and fit perfectly for me, they are smaller than a Puma mens. Finish is also good. They will require a bit of playing in as they're pretty stiff out of the packet but the palm is very soft.
Only negative... white wristbands
