I've got the black/green pads and both sets of gloves, wouldn't be without them! The quality is excellent

Think I remember TomTek saying Affinity were going to continue using that design after Adidas bought Ayrtek (or am I making that up?)

That is correct, the Ayrtek legacy continues with Affinity. Here is an extract from the product description on the Affinity website:

I have both pads and gloves. Been highly impressed with the quality of them this season,
