This can be true  but they are good bats while they last

Match readiness?
The edges on their "fully knocked" bats make a samuri sword look blunt...

What I mean is that the bats start performing very early after little knocking. Regarding edges, they are sharp and need rounding but I have never really bothered. I nicked a few time and edge needed sanding/oiling but that was that. No big deal. I try to hit the ball from the middle part of the bat, not edges.

I try to hit the ball from the middle part of the bat, not edges.

I try to hit the ball using the middle of the bat, but the toe and edges seem to take the brunt of the impact...  :-[
