Dear Forum members,
Great news another donation and pledge of support. Andy the chief bat maker/pod shaver of San Andreas Fault bats has decided to donate a bat to our disabled cricket open day. I can not tahnk you guys enough. As word is obviously starting to get around the forum now about what we are trying to get going down here in Devon. Basically guys and girls we have no kit and no money as of yet until we get some funding from sport England/ECB and we are desperate for kit to get our Devon Disabled Cricket team up and running down here in Devon. Long term we need to raise ten thousand pounds to put down on a Lords Taverners mini bus and the Lords taverners will put another £35,000 pounds towards it so we can get a mini bus that will cater for disabled persons and wheel chair users. We are going to be raising money through raffles/auctions etc and will rely on dnoations in the future to help fund the team. But  at the moment we have no kit for the team. We need sponsorship and everything from  bails, to balls, to bats etc so if you have anything you can donate to a good cause fantastic!! Send it on down to Perry Sprung, Disability Cricket Coordinator, Indoor Cricket Centre, Exeter University,Stocker Road, Exeter, EX4-4QN. Further details of the Disabled cricket team and our ambitions are on the Devon Cricket Board website. And once again thanks Andy i can not thank you enough as like i said all the big manufacturers and retailers have said no and given us the brush of!!! Just goes to show the British Public know a good cause when they see one.
